About Crosby Uwagbai

There’s really no words that can really describe a man like Crosby Uwagbai [pronounced like 'you walk by'].

A great man of communication that could speak 5 languages, graduated high school at the age of 16 in Lagos, Nigeria, and had 3 bachelor’s degrees in the U.S.

This is the same man who was given 6 months to live in 1988, but beat the odds by living another 34 years. He possessed a strong will to live, which led to him beating Covid twice in his 60’s and even pneumonia in 2022.

The Uwagbai family honors him as he rests in Heaven, but continues his legacy through his work of art, that now we bring to the world’s attention.

This Dallas Hero passed on his artistic gift to all 4 of his children and most likely his grandchild. He was a special soul that saved a lot of lives in the city of Dallas, specifically [Oak Cliff] with his non- profit organization and program, to keep kids off the streets, through art in general.
